Made in 1980, the first year of production for the 3rd Generation Sheriffs Model. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, with the short two-line address on top of the barrel, model marking on the left and "COLT S.A.A. 44 CAL." on the right. Standard frame markings, with "44-40" on the side of the cylinder. Bottom of frame, trigger guard and grip straps are nickel finish. Rear grip strap is engraved "MICHAEL C BARRETT". Fitted with a pair of smooth ivory grips. The extra cylinder is in 44 Special. Both cylinders are numbered to the gun.

Near new with a very faint drag line on the cylinder and light overall handling/storage marks. Extra cylinder is excellent with a very faint drag line. The grip is excellent with some minor age cracks and on attractive grain. The action is excellent.
