Manufactured in 1980 with the standard two line address on top of the barrel, "COLT SHERIFF'S MODEL" on the left side, "COLT S.A.A. 44 CAL" on the right and the two line, three patent date marking on the left of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. Standard features with the fixed blade front sight and groove rear sight. Fitted with two-piece walnut grips. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun and extra matching serial numbered 44 Special cylinder.

Excellent plus. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish with a light partial cylinder drag line. The frame retains all of the original bright case colors. The grips are also excellent plus. Overall the revolver shows only light handling/storage marks. The extra cylinder is as new. The box is very good.
