This custom rifle has a windage spirit level sight and two scope blocks on the barrel marked "J.A. CLERKE" on the left side near the breech. The satin gray receiver features a border engraving and small game scenes inside an oval surrounded by a scroll motif. The rifle has an adjustable tang peep sight and a set trigger. The nicely figured extra fancy english walnut stock has checkering on the Schnabel forearm and pistol grip, checkered steel grip cap, cheekpiece and checkered metal buttplate.

Excellent. The barrel retains 99% plus of the blue finish with only a few light handling marks. The receiver and lever retain 97% of the stain gray finish. The wood is excellent with a few minor handling marks and a small chip missing from the forearm near the frame. The checkering is excellent.
