This is an example of a Remington Style Rolling Block Rifle made by Montana gunsmith John King. The rifle has a spirit level tunnel front sight and a tang peep sight. The top barrel flat is marked "E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y." and the bottom flat is marked "45-70". The bottom flat is also marked "John P. King/Kila, Montana" under the forearm. Pistol grip stock with checkered forearm and grip area, cheekpiece, casehardened forend tip and solid Hogue recoil pad.

Masterfully custom made by renowned Montana gunsmith John King. The rifle retains 98% plus of the blue finish and case colors with a very small spot of light pitting on the barrel near the breech. The wood has a couple light handling marks.
