Description:

The German silver barrel has two British proofs stamped on the upper left flat. The 2 inch and 3 inch blades are marked "JAMES/RODGERS/SHEFFIELD" on the left ricasso. The knife and pistol are enclosed in a German silver case with smooth stag scales riveted to the sides. A folding lid compartment for caps is located in the back strap and provisions for tools are on the sides of the frame at the butt. These included tools are a bullet mold and tweezers.

Rating Definition:

Very good. Most of the German silver remains. The iron components have a mottled gray patina with some pin point pitting on the blades. The scales are also very good with a large surface chip missing near the butt and a few hairline stress cracks. Mechanically excellent.
