Manufactured in 1866. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel (restamped), frame, trigger guard and back strap. The wedge is un-numbered. Fitted with smooth varnished one-piece walnut grip.

Rating Definition:

Partially refinished, (the barrel) which retains traces of blue finish mainly in protected areas. The barrel also shows signs of abrasion under the cold blue. The remaining metal surfaces have a crisp smooth gray patina. The trigger guard shows strong traces of age darkened original silver plating in protected areas. The grip is about good with some lower edge wear, a few minor chips on the lower edges, 5 tiny tacks on the bottom and a few scattered minor dents. The cylinder scene is mostly visible and the markings are clear. The action is fine.
