Manufactured in 1902. The barrel is marked "COLT. D.A. 38" on the left side towards the breech and the top of the barrel is marked with the two line Hartford address. The left side of the frame is marked with the three line patent marking followed by a circled Rampant Colt. Matching numbers appear on the frame and grip straps with the assembly number "720" on the loading gate. Blue finish with polished hammer sides, casehardened frame and fitted with checkered Rampant Colt bird head grips.

Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original blue finish showing some high edge wear, thinning grip straps and cycling marks on the cylinder. The frame retains 70% original case colors. The grips are fine with some minor high edge wear with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
