Brass blade front and raised 5-peep standing rear sight on the swamped octagon barrel, with attractive Damascus pattern, raised decoration at the breech, and a series of five floral accented silver barrel bands. The cover plate for the lock is lightly engraved, with a detachable serrated frizzen face, thick iron pyrite holding jaw, and a ball trigger. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a metal ramrod, an 8 3/4 inch engraved brass panel at the tip with sling swivel, ivory and green dyed bone accent pieces, a jingling bell ornament on the right side behind the lock plate and extensive brass pin decoration throughout.

Very good, with a mixed brown and gray patina overall, and a brightly cleaned appearance to the lock hardware. A fine aged patina is showing on the bands, with a few bends and dents. Stock is good, with a few cracks at the wrist and forearm, and some mild chips and handling marks. Lock screws are replacements, otherwise mechanically good.
