This is an example of a scarce Jarre double action harmonica pistol. The top right side at the breech is marked "A JARRE/BTE S.G.D.G." in a downward arch and the matching serial number is marked on the breech end on top of the left barrel and on the toe of the front strap. The breech loading six barrel cluster slides left to right and it functions double action only. There is a post sight mounted on top of the frame, a cleaning rod that screws into the top of the back strap and fitted with smooth two-piece varnished walnut grips.

Very good as refinished overall. The pistol has a smooth irregular brown refinish with scattered small patches of thin blue finish. The grips have been refinished and show a pieced in repair on the upper right side and some light handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
