Description:

This is a WWI German Army 1915 dated DWM 1914 Model Military Contract Luger rig with two matching magazines and a 1915 dated brown leather holster. The chamber area is dated 1915 with the standard DWM logo on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the standard military/Army inspection proof next to a single Imperial Army firing proof. The safety and extractor are both correctly marked and it has the military style serial number placement with the full serial number on the frame, barrel, barrel extension and both magazines with the last two digits of the serial number on the various small parts. This rig is complete with a nice medium brown leather holster that is marked on the front of the holster: "SATTLERINNUNG/EISLEBEN/1915". This rig as noted has two original wood base matching magazines with the bases marked "2819/e" and "2819/e/+".

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% plus of the original blue finish overall with wear on the side plate hump and muzzle area. The various small parts retain 85% of their straw colors. The walnut grips are in excellent condition with nice distinct checkering with minor handling marks. The holster is also near excellent with a nice light brown color overall with clear sharp markings, tight stitching with minor scratches/scuffs on the corners of the flap, around the buckle and lower toe area. Overall an exceptional all matching WWI DWM Luger Rig.
