Description:

This is an example of a mid production 1906 Commercial Luger. The chamber area is unmarked and it has the DWM logo on top of the toggle. The left side of the barrel extension has the commercial Crown over "B & U" proofs with the full serial number on the front of the frame and underside of the barrel, which also carries the same Crown over "B, U, & G" proofs. It has the commercial style serial numbering with the last two digits numbered on the takedown lever, the bottom of the side plate, the side of the breechblock and the rear toggle. It is fitted with the standard checkered walnut grips, with an original Swiss contract Luger magazine with the unmarked nickel plated and brown plastic base. This is a pistol for anyone starting a Luger collection.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored with 99% of the rust blue finish overall and 90% of the straw colors. The replacement walnut grips are very fine with a nice dark brown matching color on both panels with nice sharp checkering showing only a few minor handling marks. (They do not fit correctly.) This Luger has matching numbers except the magazine as noted.
