The solid concave matted rib barrels are equipped with a brass front bead. The right barrel is marked "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO. MADE IN BELGIUM" and the left barrel is marked "U.S. AGENTS NEW YORK", all towards the breech. The barrels are choked full and improved modified and have ejectors and 3 inch chambers. The shotgun features a tight English scroll engraving on the boxlock action with side plates, sideclips, auto tang safety, double under-lugs and Greener cross-bolt. The left side plate is marked "A.F. FRANCOTTE MAKER AND PATENTER LIEGE BELGIUM". The right side plate is unmarked, has only the engraving. Mounted on a checkered straight grip French walnut stock with a checkered horn buttplate and checkered splinter forearm with an Anson/Deeley latch. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent. The barrels retains 95% plus original blue finish with some slight spotting. 90% case colors remain on the action with a sharp engraving. The trigger guard is mostly absent of blue. The stock is very fine with some minor handling marks and a ding on the forearm near the tip. A very rare Abercrombie & Fitch/Francotte made before 1962.
