This is an example of a Japanese manufactured special order Mark V Rifle. The barrel is manufactured without sights and the rifle is equipped with a Weatherby Premier 3x-9 scope on Buehler mounts. The hinged floor plate is floor engraved with "WEATHERBY CUSTOM" in a banner. Jeweled fluted bolt and follower. Extra fancy stock with carved fish scale pattern in lieu of checkering on the forearm and pistol grip. Fancy exotic wood diamond inlays are featured on the stock on each side of the action and underside of forearm with a larger inlay on the right side of the buttstock. The diamond inlay on the forearm also has initials in gold inlay: "RFM SR." Contrasting rosewood forend tip and grip cap with the addition of a diamond inlay on the grip cap. Fitted with a vented Weatherby recoil pad and sling swivel studs.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish with a few light handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a few very minor handling marks and overall crisp carving. The scope has clear optics.
