Manufactured from 1931 to 1941 as a target version of the Heavy Duty Revolver built on the five screw frame. Pinned blade special order gold bead front sight, adjustable rear sight, checkered hammer and serrated trigger and grip straps. Standard barrel markings with the S&W logo and "MADE IN U.S.A." marked on the right side of the frame. The hammer and trigger are stamped "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." Blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger. Fitted with checkered S&W medallion grips with the right grip panel numbered to the gun. With the correct factory blue box

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish showing very slight loss at the muzzle, a few light handling marks and a cylinder drag line. The trigger and hammer retain 99% plus original case colors. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.
