According to factory records, this pistol was part of a 10 gun shipment to the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri on September 3, 1920, in 38 caliber with a 6 inch barrel, blue finish, and "Not Listed" grips. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right. Equipped with a slide catch, a lanyard ring on the square butt, and checkered Colt banner grips.
