Description:

Manufactured in 1914. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent marks on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the caliber markings on the right. "VP" triangle proof and "6" are stamped on the left side of the trigger guard. Unmarked blue magazine and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains 75% original blue finish with edge wear and thinning to a smooth gray patina on the grip straps. There are a number of scratches on the left upper front of the trigger guard and a few long scratches on the right side of the frame. There is some light scattered spotting. Most of the bright niter blue finish remains on the trigger. The grips are excellent with minimal handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically fine.
