Description:

The U.S. Government ordered about 35,000 of these shotguns and they were used extensively in World War II. "U.S." and a flaming bomb are stamped on the right side of the receiver and there is a flaming bomb on the right side of the barrel. Fitted with a 6 row vented heat shield and bayonet adapter. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, 85% plus of the original blue finish remains with most of the wear from cycling. The wood is very good as heavily sanded with a 1 inch long hairline crack on the right side of the wrist. Mechanically excellent.
