Manufactured in 1945 by Remington-Rand, and later overhauled at the Springfield and Rock Island Arsenals with a custom fit Colt slide and National Match components. Serrated Patridge front sight and adjustable U.S. marked Kensight rear sight, with "NM7791435" on the left side of the slide, the Colt address on the right and the last four digits of the serial number under the firing pin stop. The frame is marked with the "FJA" Atwood inspector mark on the left side and standard markings on the right, with the addition of "T/ T" around the magazine catch, "NM" on the trigger guard bow, and a "SA" Springfield stamp overstamped with a Rock Island "RIA" below the model marking. Other features include the "7267718/ N M" marked bushing, adjustable long aluminum trigger, "45 AUTO/NM 7791414/1359" marked Colt barrel, checkered front strap and checkered hardwood grips. With a National Match tag wrapped around the trigger guard, copies of the bill of sale, and a plain brown cardboard box in a shipping sleeve with RIA markings.

Excellent as arsenal upgraded to National Match specifications with 99% plus of the parkerized finish. Showing mild wear along the high edges and scattered handling marks. The grips are excellent with a few light dents and crisp checkering. The box and sleeve are both in good shape. Mechanically excellent.
