This Single Action Army revolver was engraved by Master Engraver J.J. Adams after it left the Colt factory. The factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, and smooth ivory grips with gold Colt Medallions and was originally shipped with a blue finish and presentation case. The revolver was shipped to Jerry's Sport Center Inc. of Newington, Connecticut on October 8, 1985 as a one gun shipment on order number 2727. The barrel retains the Colt Hartford address and caliber marking and the left side of the frame has the three line, three patent dates marking. The grip straps are numbered to the gun with Adams' signature on the left side under the grip. An attractive engraved scroll pattern appears on the barrel, ejector rod housing, cylinder and grip straps. The factory ivory grips are numbered to the gun and have gold Colt medallions. The Colt "woodgrain" box has a Colt Custom Gun Shop end label numbered to the gun and confirming the ivory grips.

Embellished by Master Engraver J.J. Adams. The revolver retains all of the blue finish and case colors showing traces of a light cylinder drag line and a few light handling marks. The grips are excellent with a very attractive color and grain pattern. The box is good with taped repairs.
