Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 70% original blue finish with a gray and brown patina on the balance. The right side of the barrel has some very fine pitting. The frame and loading lever retain 40% original dark case colors with a smooth bluish gray on the balance. The trigger guard and back strap show scattered original silver plating which has darkened with age. The brass has an untouched dark aged patina. The grips are also very fine retaining most of the original varnish showing some wear and minor chips on the lower edge, and overall some minor dents and dings. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
