Description:

Manufactured in 1884. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the bottom of the barrel is marked "44" just ahead of the cylinder pin, the left side of the frame is marked with the three line, three patent date marking and the front, left side of the trigger guard bow is marked "44 C.F.". Visible numbers are matching. Fitted with a one piece grip that has been checkered. The letter "W" is stamped on the bottom of the grip and on the front grip strap.

Rating Definition:

Good as period refinished. The revolver is mostly a mottled gray patina overall. The period crudely checkered grip is fair with a couple missing chips and some worn crude cut checkering. The action is loose.
