Description:

The left side of the scope is marked "Gw ZF 4", "dow" the code for Opticotechna, Czechoslovakia, triangle and "39033". Elevation knob on the right side graduated 1 to 8 with a sheet metal sunshield on each end. With Walther "Eagle/359" proofed side rail mount, unnumbered (will enhance your K43 or G43 rifle as it never is a mismatch!), with proper style "lose" and "fest" marked locking lever. Also included are a pair of lens covers, one with dual leather caps and one with a leather cap and a wood plug, and a solid belt case, black paint finished with hardwood sides and pressed board (similar to masonite, or a similar material) front and back.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The exterior of the scope shows some minor wear and loss of the finish, which is showing 90% overall, with a mixed gray and brown patina forming on the sun shields. The base is excellent, with 98% original phosphate finish and a rough cast texture overall. Optics are foggy, partially due to storage residue on the exterior. Both sets of lens covers are fine. The box is very good, with some scuffing and dings, concentrated on the edges and the front.
