Description:

A 17th century Dutch East India bronze lantaka cannon with an unusual serpent mouth muzzle. This circa 1640 cannon has pyramidal design on the breech and is mounted on a bronze swivel. This item is quite rare as most of these small weapons were melted down for the bronze or lost in battle action.

Rating Definition:

Good. The cannon shows some light handling marks, flaking and areas of light surface oxidation.
