This is an excellent World War II Luger pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory. The chamber is dated 1939 and the front toggle has the wartime code of "42", for the Mauser factory. The right side barrel extension is stamped double "Eagle/63" Waffenamt proof along with the single eagle firing proof. It is numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number (2172) on the major components, with the last two digits (72) stamped on the various small parts. It has one blue unmarked magazine with aluminum base that is stamped "2172/v/+/Eagle 63". This luger is complete with a brown leather holster marked "CARL ACKVA/BAD KREUZNACH/1939/WaA286" on the back.

Excellent with 98% plus of the blue finish with only edge and high spot wear. The grips are also in excellent condition with nice sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is in very fair condition with nice light brown color overall with tight stitching and clear sharp markings. This Luger has all matching numbers to include the magazine.
