Blade front and 1,000 meter tangent rear sights, with "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF a/N" marking on the top of the chamber area, "VON LENGERKE/& DETMOLD/NEW-YORK" marked in the center milled panel area on the left side, and "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A NECKAR" on the right side. The left flat of the barrel is marked with a "Crown/Crown/U" proof and the underside has three small gothic letter stamps. The pistol is fitted with a pair of dark Gutta Percha grips with attractive raised floral designs, and a combination holster and shoulder stock with a matching serial number atop the mounting iron.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing a few light handling marks and a small amount of edge wear overall. Strong niter blue is present on the safety and rear sight components, with a bright straw color on the trigger. Grips are excellent, with a few small pressure dents. Stock is very fine as reoiled, with a few small dings on the wood and 90% original niter blue remaining on the hinge. The original matching serialized attaching iron retains 60% of the original blue. Mechanically excellent.
