This is a fine example of an early DWM Model 1908 German Commercial Luger complete with a brown leather holster and reproduction magazine. The chamber is blank with the DWM monogram on the front toggle. The left side of the barrel extension, breech block, toggle and underside of the barrel are all marked with a "Crown/N" Commercial proof. It is numbered in the commercial manner with the full serial number on the frame and underside of the barrel with the last two digits (85) on some of the various smaller parts. It has the standard fixed sights, safety area and extractor markings. It is fitted with an unmarked nickel plated magazine with unmarked wooden base. This early Luger is complete with a brown leather commercial pattern reproduction holster stamped on back "P08" and "G. HOLSTER/MUNCHEN/1918". It is complete with a reproduction Luger magazine.

Fine condition with 80% of the faded blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots with spotting on the grip straps. The various small parts retain 30% of their straw colors overall. The grips are in good condition with nice visible checkering on both sides, with minor handling marks. The holster and spare magazine are in like new condition.
