Description:

Measuring 1 3/4 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches tall, the face of the medal is topped with a crown, and features a scene of a monoplane in flight over the countryside set in a laurel and oak leaf wreath with a ribbon at the base. The reverse is decorated with a radiant burst pattern beneath the drum hinge pin, with "C.E.JUNCKER/Berlin" stamped over a crescent moon proof mark and "800". Included with the metal is a black leatherette case, marked "C.E. Juncker/Alte Jacobstr.13/BERLIN S.W." on the purple inner lining.
