Introduced in 1936, for issue to select full time members of the Reich Luftschutz Bund, the air raid protection force of Nazi Germany. Though the RLB had a massive personnel roster, the blade's status as a reward for special action result in a limited number being available today. 13 3/4 inches overall, with an 8 3/4 inch blade, marked with the WKC logo on the address on one side. Guard is decorated with a stylized Nazi eagle, nickel finished brass pommel, smooth hardwood grip and blue enamel painted brass RLB insignia. Black enamel scabbard, with nickel fittings.

Very good exterior. The excellent blade shows some light spotting and polishing marks, and the scabbard shows areas of flaking and brown patina.
