Ribbed grips and "P.38v" marked magazine which has an "Eagle/135" proof on the spine. Pistol is listed by serial number in Buxton's THE P.38 PISTOL, VOL II with the asterisk on the slide noted.

Very fine. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish showing a faint plum patina. The grips are excellent with some scattered very minor handling marks.

Blue barrel with remaining surfaces having a phosphate finish. "Eagle/WaA135" proofs, left side of slide has "byf/44" markings, visible "d" block serial numbers are matching, ribbed grips and jvd magazine.

Excellent. The barrel retains 97% original blue finish showing a faint plum patina. The remaining metal surfaces retain 95% original phosphate finish showing some thinning to a gray.
