This model was introduced in 1955 and is built on the standard K31 action fitted with a 25 3/4 inch barrel. The chamber is marked with the Swiss cross and the matching serial number (2777) is marked on the receiver, top of the bolt and bottom of the magazine. The breech end of the barrel is also marked with Swiss proof marks. The left side of the receiver has a one-piece, integral scope base designed specifically to fit the one-piece scope body/mounting rail. The rifle has its original issue, matching 3.5 power sniper scope manufactured by Kern Aarau. The top of the scope is marked "2777/KERN AARAU/V=3.5/star =75 0/00" with the matching scope and scope can numbered (2777). The barrel is fitted with a one-piece Swiss designed muzzle break/flash hider that has a standard front-sight blade with raised guards on the sides. The rear sight is the standard Swiss military tangent style, marked 1-15 (100-1500 meters) on the face of the slide. These rifles were all equipped with an integral folding bi-pod mounted just in front of the magazine. This scarce rifle has been fitted with a one-piece beech pistol grip stock with checkered grip area and forearm finger grooves. The right side of the buttstock has a single small Swiss cross in a shield proof mark and it has a steel buttplate and matching hand guard. This rifle is complete with an original leather sling. The side of the barrel has a small import mark.

Very fine with 95% of the blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear. The beech stock is in good condition with 85% of its original finish overall with numerous light pressure dents, dings mixed with some minor heavier marks on the sides of the stock. The Scope and mount retain 95% of its original blue finish and has clear sharp optics. The scope can retains 95% of its gray painted exterior. The leather sling is in very good condition showing heavier wear and finish loss overall, but still intact and supple. A nice complete all matching Swiss K31/55 sniper rifle.
