This is an example of an assembled Mauser byf/44 Code P38 without a serial number and an "ac" coded armorer's replacement frame. The left side of the slide is marked "P.38" followed by "byf/44" and the right side has an "Eagle/WaA135" proof and a firing proof. The left side of the frame is stamped with an "Eagle/359" proof and "ac." The left side of the barrel lug has an "Eagle/WaA135" proof. Ribbed grips and jvd magazine. The "gxy" holster is dated 1944 and the inside of the flap is inked stamped with SS runes and "Eigentum" inside a box.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are also excellent with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with some minor flex wear and handling marks with overall tight stitching.
