Manufactured in 1924. The left side of the slide is marked with the two-line address/patent dates (1897 & 1903 ) with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The right side of the slide is marked, "AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" below the ejection port. Blue finished including the barrel with a bright chamber and a two-tone "CAL 32/COLT" marked magazine. Fitted with black hard rubber checkered grips with the COLT banner at the top and the Rampant Colt at the bottom. Complete with the original hinged lid box numbered to the gun containing the original fold-out instruction sheet and cleaning brush. Included is a factory letter stating that this pistol was shipped to Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co., Boston, Massachusetts, on 12 Sept. 1924.

Excellent plus. The pistol retains 99% plus of bright original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering. The instruction sheet is fine with only mild age toning. The box is good with some heavy edge wear and some loss of outer material. This is a superb example of a Colt 1903 model in exception condition.
