Manufactured in 1918. The two line, two block address and patent dates are on the left side of the slide and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" on the right. Frame is marked with an "Eagle/S15" and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Flat mainspring housing, "PH" marked barrel, wide hammer, smooth trigger and checkered grips.

Very fine. The pistol retains 50% of the original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The grips are excellent with overall crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
