Description:

Manufactured 1917. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line, two block 1897-1913 patent dates and address, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, the left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" is marked on the right side of the slide. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number and the left side is marked with the circled "GHS" inspection mark of Major Gilbert H. Stewart. The barrel chamber is marked with an "H" and "P" and there is a "H" at the top of the hammer slot. Fixed sights, lanyard ring on the heel, unmarked two tone magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips with diamond pattern around the screws.

Rating Definition:

Professionally restored to near mint condition. The grips are as new. The markings are clear and crisp.
