Excellent. The rifle retains 98% of the original blue finish with some light handling marks and a few minor areas of surface oxidation at the rear of the receiver on both sides and along the upper tang on the left side. The gold is slightly discolored with age. The wood is excellent with a few light handling marks and a couple of dings. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good, lightly soiled with some edge/corner wear.
