Description:

This is an early example being serial number "SA49". There are flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the lock plate, hammer, breech block, breech block lever, rear of the barrel, trigger guard and on top of the buttplate. All metal components are silver plated. Mounted on a nicely figured walnut straight grip stock with multi-point checkering on the forearm and on the wrist. With a hardwood case lined in blue cloth.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, 98% of the original silver finish remains with some dings on the sling bar and some scattered light scratches. The stock is also excellent with scattered light dings and scratches. The case is good.
