Description:

Introduced in 1905 to equip Prussia's Mounted Dispatch Rider Regiments. Blackened steel construction overall, with a slight point to the "lobster tail" pattern neck protector, a cloverleaf base for the vent spike, and a silver finished brass eagle emblem on the front. The chinstrap is mounted to the sides, with the proper National black-white-red cockade on the right and the Prussian black-white-black on the left. The underside of the front visor has a green paint finish, with "58" stamped on the underside of the neck protector an adjustable brown leather webbing and "OTTO NACHTIGALL/BERLIN 1915" around the vent hole.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with some mild flaking of the paint and cracks and tears of the leather.
