Manufactured during the German occupation of Belgium during World War II. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the 2-line Herstal address over the Browning patent marking on the slide, "eagle/swastika" and "WaA613" proofs and matching numbers on the slide, barrel and frame. Serrated ring hammer, smooth back strap and checkered hardwood grips.

Very fine as professionally refinished, showing 95% of the current blue, with a few areas of brown patina, bright edge wear, scattered handling marks and minor pitting. The grips are very good, with a few dents and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
