Produced before the German Invasion in 1940. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the 2-line Herstal address over the Browning patent marking on the slide, stacked Liege proofs on the left side of the slide and frame, and stacked serial numbers on the right. The replacement barrel is unnumbered, with "140" and "10" Waffenamt stamps. Serrated ring hammer, smooth trigger, slotted back strap checkered hardwood grips and an extra magazine.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish on the slide and frame, with bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Grips are fine, with a few light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
