The left side of the slide has the "byf/43" markings along with a commercial "Eagle/N" proof. Spurious "Eagle/L" police proofmark on the right side of the slide with mix of Waffenamt and commercial proofs present. "P.38" marked magazine with two "Eagle/359" proofs on the spine. The base of the magazine has been re-numbered to the gun with an added "Eagle/L" proof.

Refinished. The pistol retains 95% of blue finish showing some thinning to a brown. There is an area of touch up blue around the deeply struck police proof. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks.

The left side of the slide has the "SVW/46" marking and the right side of the slide has the French star proof. The left side of the trigger guard has a circled flaming grenade, the official symbol of French police groups. Visible "k" block serial numbers are matching. Fitted with ribbed steel grips. "P38v/U" marked magazine.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original phosphate finish showing some scattered minor edge wear. The grips are also excellent showing some wear on the high spots.
