Manufactured during the German occupation of Belgium in World War II. Blade front and fixed rear sights, with the 2-line Herstal address over the Browning patent marking on the slide, "eagle/swastika" and "WaA140" proofs on the slide, barrel and frame, and stacked serial numbers on the right. Serrated ring hammer, smooth back strap and checkered plastic grips. With a brown leather flap holster, marked "clg/44" on the lower flap, and an extra magazine.

Very excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, gray along the high edges, and scattered light pitting and handling marks. The grips are very fine, with a small crack at the bottom of each side and light dents. Holster is excellent plus, with nearly all of the original finish and a few scuffs. The magazine well safety has been disabled, otherwise mechanically excellent.
