Description:

Manufactured in 1939 at the Radom Factory in Poland. These were the standard sidearm of the Polish Army. Following the invasion and occupation in September 1939, it became a secondary weapon for the German Army. The left side of the slide is marked "F.B. RADOM/1939r." and "VIS-wz.35/pat.Nr.15567" with the standard Polish Eagle in the middle of the markings. This model is fitted with a takedown catch and a slotted back strap for mounting a stock, and is fitted with a pair of checkered grips marked "FB" and "VIS" on the left and right side, respectively. It is complete with an early type magazine with the double pinned base plate that is etched on the spine: E 2777.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as assembled with 85% plus of the blued finish still remaining overall. The grips are very fine with minor handling marks. This late production model has a mis-matched frame, slide and barrel. Mechanically needs work as the hammer drops when the slide is released. The thumb safety is also loose.
