Manufactured in 1950. Hooded ramp front and folding leaf rear sights with the receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. The barrel has the standard Winchester legend on the left side with the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. Straight receiver tang, late type safety, jeweled bolt and follower with the bolt un-numbered and Super Grade quick release sling swivels. Checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap, ebony forend tip, cheekpiece and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as partially refinished (receiver and trigger guard). The rifle retains 97% of the blue finish showing some loss at the muzzle and a few streaks of gray on the barrel. The number "2" in the serial number has been stamped over another number. The stock is fine with some minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
