Manufactured in 1959. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof stamped on the left side of the heavy barrel and receiver at the breech. Barrel and receiver are tapped for sight/scope mounting. Bolt numbered to the gun, straight receiver tang and late type safety. Mounted on a standard type high comb pistol grip stock featuring checkering, sling swivel studs and checkered plastic buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish showing some scuffs on top of the receiver and a faint plum patina on the floor plate. Modified bolt with the handle polished bright. The reoiled stock is very fine with much of the finish remaining and a few minor handling marks. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
