Description:

Jan Fisher (Am 1938-) Chief Medicine Crow. This massive finely cast polychromed bronze is of Chief Medicine Crow who was the last member of the Crow tribe to be made a war chief. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom award. This highly detailed sculpture of Chief Crow shows him in his early prime wearing an elaborate tribal outfit clutching feathers in his hands. Marked "2/75/93". Mounted on a rectangular marble plinth and wood base with a brass nameplate attached to the front. Measuring 20" x 17" x 12" and weighs approximately 40 lbs.

Rating Definition:

Very good with a few light handling marks. The base and plinth are very good with a few light edge and corner marks.
