PEINE" inlaid in gold on top of the frame, scroll engraved trigger guard with relief engraved monogram, horn trigger guard grip extension and barrel release. Mounted with a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with scroll engraved forend cap and straight grip stock with cheek piece, engraved buttplate with compartment for a three piece cleaning rod, (not included) and sling swivel. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Very good. The barrels have a smooth brown patina and there is a smooth dark gray patina on the remaining metal surfaces. The wood is good with scattered minor pressure dents, scratches and crisp checkering. The engraving is sharp. Mechanically fine.
