The floral scroll engraving is present on the muzzle end of the barrel, the rear section of the barrel, the barrel lug, the bottom and flat sides of the loading lever, the frame, the hammer, the trigger guard, the butt and the back strap. The top of the barrel is engraved "COL n COLT, LONDON,", there are two British proofs on the left side of the barrel lug and there are "crown/V" proofs between the nipples on the cylinder. Fitted with a beautifully figured smooth walnut one piece grip with piano style finish. The factory letter states that this revolver was shipped In the White, the type of stocks as "Not Listed", that it was shipped to Klay Associates on July 8th, 1983 and that 150 guns were in the shipment. With an oak display case, an early Colt box numbered to another gun, a cleaning rod, an oiler bottle, a powder flask, a bullet mold, an empty cap tin and a screwdriver/nipple wrench.

Rating Definition:

Professionally embellished, 99% of the original blue finish remains with a light drag line on the cylinder and a few light handling/storage marks. The casehardened components retain 99% plus of the vibrant case colors. The brass components retain 99% plus of the silver plated finish with some darkened patina. The walnut grip is excellent with only a few light marks. The case is good with one hinge missing the pin, the lock escutcheon is absent and there is scattered scratches, dings and wear. The accessories are all very good or better. The box is good.
