This set of revolvers is very interesting in that they were left in the white, but that is not the only interesting thing about this set! The previous lot of cavalry commemorative revolvers in this sale have the same serial numbers. The letter from the factory dated July 6th, 2012 states that "Cavalry Commemorative sets in the serial number range of US2961 through US3000 are unclear and confusing. Due to this fact, we are unable to determine with any degree of certainty, the exact configurations of these revolvers." Fitted with a smooth walnut grip with boxed "MSH" cartouches. With a Colt Custom Shop two gun walnut display case lined in maroon velvet, a boxed set of Colt Black Powder Series 1860 Army accessories and a "woodgrain" box marked "P.P."

Near new with a slight drag line on the cylinder, some scattered minor freckling and some scattered minor handling/storage marks. The case is very good with scattered minor scratches and dings. The accessories are like new in the box. The woodgrain box is good with tears, edge wear and some flaking.

Similar to the "A" gun of this lot. With a "woodgrain" box numbered to another gun.

Near new with a faint partial drag line on the cylinder, some scattered minor freckling and a few light dings. Box is fair with edge wear and flaking.
