This is an early example of a second generation Colt 1851 Navy revolver. These early revolvers were shipped in the same black box as the early second generation Single Action Army revolvers. With a walnut Colt case lined in royal blue velvet, a powder flask, an empty cap tin, a two cavity bullet mold, a nipple wrench/screwdriver, the original black box numbered to gun and a shipping box for the case.

Near new with only a few very faint patches of oxidation and a few light handling/storage marks. The case is excellent with some scattered minor marks on the exterior and one partition is loose inside. The black box is very good with some creases and edge wear.
