Reportedly the only factory documented Winchester Model 1886 Saddle Ring Carbine in 33 WCF caliber. This exact rifle is photographed on the top of page 332 of the "Winchester Book" by George Madis. The caption reads "THIS CARBINE IS CHAMBERED FOR THE 33 WCF CARTRIDGE RAREST IN THE 86 CARBINE."

Rating Definition:

Very good. The metal surfaces have a mixed brown and gray patina with traces of the original blue finish, strongest in the protected areas. Overall there is some mild spotting and handling marks. The notch on the frame is non-factory. The wood is very good as revarnished showing some mild dents and scratches. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
